We collect information necessary to provide and operate Mind to Work as an educational platform.

• Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our systems.
• Educational Data You Provide: Mind to Work is built around the information you enter. This may include student profiles, school structure, calendars, assignments, progress tracking, and related educational records you choose to create in the platform.
• Device and Access Information: We collect limited device and session information when you use Mind to Work. This includes user agent data (browser and operating system), device and display characteristics, IP address, and login session details.
• Usage and Support Information: We collect information about how the service is used and retain communications you send to us for support purposes.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Accounts are created and managed by parents or teachers.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate Mind to Work, support its features, and improve the experience for users.

• Provide and Operate the Service: We use account, educational, and system information to run the platform and make its core features available to you.
• Account Management and Billing: We use account and billing information to manage subscriptions, process payments through third-party providers, and handle account-related communications.
• Educational Features: We use the information you enter—such as students, assignments, calendars, and school structure—to power the educational tools and tracking features of Mind to Work.
• Account Security and Session Management: We use device and session information to help secure accounts, support login activity, and allow authorized users (such as teachers or administrators) to view active sessions and manage or log out devices.
• Customer Support: We may access your account information, communications, and related activity when needed to respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, or help resolve problems you report. This access is limited to what is necessary to provide assistance.
• Improve the Service: We may use usage and system data to understand how Mind to Work performs in real-world use, identify issues, improve reliability, and guide development of new features.

We do not sell personal information.

3. Data Sharing

We only share information in limited situations:

• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (including but not limited to web hosting, email providers, payment processors) to operate Mind to Work. They only receive the information they need to perform their role.
• Legal Requirements: If we receive a valid legal request (such as a subpoena or court order), our first step—where legally allowed—is to notify the account holder and/or direct the requesting party to the account holder to handle the request directly. We have never received a legally binding request requiring disclosure of data. If we are legally required to comply, we will disclose only the information required by law.

We do not share your personal information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

4. Anonymized and Aggregated Data

Anonymized and aggregated data refers to information that has been processed so it cannot be used to identify any individual person, student, or account , and is combined across multiple users so it only reflects group-level patterns rather than individual activity.

We may use this type of data for the following purposes:

• Improve the Platform: Understand how Mind to Work is used and improve features, performance, and reliability.
• Inform Recommendations: Identify patterns of usage that appear effective across many users and use those patterns to suggest helpful approaches within the product.
• Provide In-Product Insights: Display non-identifying statistics such as averages, trends, or cross-user usage patterns to help users understand broader educational behaviors.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and you acknowledge that you use the service at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain different types of information for different periods depending on how it is used in the service.

• Educational and Account Data: Information you enter into Mind to Work, such as student records, assignments, calendars, and related content, is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, this information will be removed from active systems within a reasonable period, and we will provide confirmation once the process is complete.
• Security and Authentication Data: We may retain login records, access logs, and related security information to help detect abuse, investigate potential security issues, and protect the platform. These records are reviewed and removed periodically rather than on a fixed short schedule.
• Backups: Deleted data may continue to exist in secure backups for a limited period of time. These backups are not actively used and are cycled out as part of normal system maintenance.

We retain only what is reasonably necessary for operating, securing, and maintaining the service.

7. Your Choices

You can:

• Access and Update Information: View and update your account information at any time.
• Request Account Deletion: You may request that your account be deleted at any time by contacting us. We will process and confirm deletion within a reasonable period of time. Deleted accounts and related data may remain in secure backups for a limited period as described in our Data Retention policy.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Mind to Work is designed for use by parents and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Children may only interact with the system under the supervision and direction of a parent or teacher account holder.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
